1. Users may only use the 'Property description' section to describe their properties. Users who abuse the 'Property description' section are in violation of our Terms of Use. Abuse of the 'Property description' section includes posting of the following:
1.1 Derogatory or sarcastic statements
1.2 Contact information:
- Email addresses
- Telephone numbers
- Website(s) address(es)
Contact information should only be posted while filling your profile details.
1.3 Questions that ask the visitor / users to accept the deal outside the area specified.
Abuse warnings:
1.4 First abuse offense:
Message content blocked. Warning issued.
1.5 Second abuse offense:
Message content blocked. Warning issued.
1.6 Third abuse offense:
User blocked
2. Guidelines for Posting a Room
As a Host, you agree to follow these guidelines when you Post a Room:
- Post information which is accurate
- Post and Maintain the Availability schedule fully updated.
- Set expectations that you can meet or exceed.
- Select our predefined Cancelation terms and abide by it in case of a cancellation.
- Not Post any type of contact information in description and other areas which are not meant for posting contact details.
- Not offer your Room in exchange for good feedback or for free.
3. Hiring Agreement
The Hiring Agreement ("the agreement") is between you ("the hirer") and the property owner. Boliday.com only acts as a facilitator and cannot be held responsible in case of any dispute arising out of this hiring agreement
4. Bookings
The person, who accepts the Agreement, certifies by doing so that he or she has the consent and authority to agree with the terms of the Agreement on behalf of all intended occupants (including any person added later). The person executing the booking must be over eighteen years of age and bookings from young people under eighteen cannot be accepted.
Completing an on-line booking form and submitting this with the requisite payment is not a definite booking until confirmation has been received from property owner
5. Payment
Once the booking has been confirmed and the agreement has come into existence the signatory is personally responsible for the total cost of hiring the property agreed.
All applicable taxes are included in the quoted rental and there is no extra charge.
6. The Owners Obligations
To provide the property you have chosen in a reasonable state of repair and condition, furnished and equipped to a fair and proper standard and in reasonable accordance with the description of the property on boliday.com:
To take reasonable steps to address properly and rectify as quickly as possible any problems which arise with the property during the hiring.
Neither the property owner nor boliday.com can be held responsible for any accident, loss or damage which may be sustained by any hirer, member of the party, or visitor.
We should point out that we cannot be held responsible for any building or roadworks nor any countryside activities i.e. machinery, animals and rural activities carried out at or close to properties.
7. Hirer's Obligations
While vacating the property it should be left in a clean and tidy condition.
Please ensure particularly that the kitchen and all equipment and utensils and the bathroom are left clean and tidy;
To pay for any damage and breakages at the property and to the contents before the departure;
To permit the owners or the owner’s agent reasonable access to examine any matter of complaint raised during the hiring and to attend to any resulting repair or rectification or other urgent maintenance;
Not to share the property with anyone not nominated in the booking form or to sublet the property or assign the booking to anyone else;
Not to exceed the maximum number of persons stated in the booking to be allowed to occupy the property without taking an explicit permission from the owner.
Any special requirements must be made known at the time of the booking. If you have any medical problem or disability, please tell the owner at the time of booking and follow up with written details.
8. Pets
Please check whether pets are allowed in a property
Only normal domestic pets are accepted and these must be docile and well behaved. Any damage done by any pet must be paid for and settled between you and the owner.
Pets must not be left alone in the property at any time;
9. Cancellation
Boliday.com has predefined cancellation terms to cover cancellation prior to the commencement of your
If you are an owner, you must specify the cancellation term you wish to execute.
Travelers must review the cancellation terms before confirming their booking
In case of any dispute arising out of cancellation, boliday.com will try to act as a mediator to the maximum extent possible. However boliday.com takes no guarantee of the amicable settlement of dispute.
Any transaction or service fees paid to boliday.com for the intermediary services is non refundable under any circumstance.
10. Non-Availability
If due to circumstances beyond the control of the owner the property booked become unavailable for hire all monies paid will be refunded in full or the Hirer will be accommodated, if the Hirer so wishes, in an alternative property at comparable price but the Hirer shall in such circumstances have no further claim against the owner or Boliday.com.
However, any transaction or service fees paid to boliday.com for the intermediary services is non refundable under any circumstance.
